Tennessee Valley Ministries was founded by Dr. Lance Flood in 2013 as Tennessee Valley Pastoral Counseling, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It has now grown to include the following distinct divisions:
TENNESSEE VALLEY PASTORAL COUNSELING continues to provide professional and affordable Christian counseling services to individuals, couples, and families nationwide online via secure video. This is offered at a significantly reduced cost in order to make our services available to a large population (we currently charge $30.00 for an individual session.) Not only is the cost of services a fraction of the standard rate, each counselor also commits 25% of their client load to pro bono services for clients experiencing extreme hardship. When that reaches capacity, remaining prospective clients are then placed a waiting list. Nevertheless, no individual is ever turned away due to a lack of financial resources.
TENNESSEE VALLEY MINISTRY INSTITUTE features short-term, cost-effective certificate programs in practical ministry disciplines which can be completed conveniently online via live, interactive video or on-site in select cities across North America. We currently offer a certificate program in Pastoral Counseling with three certification levels to prepare individuals for this critical area of ministry. We have also recently launched a certificate program in Christian Coaching. In addition to offering our online programs three times a year, we are also available to provide on-site training at churches. TENNESSEE VALLEY CHRISTIAN MEDIA features Christian performing ensembles who represent our ministry for various church and community events. These include Full Pardon, which is a contemporary Christian a cappella group, 31:30, a contemporary Christian female vocal trio, and EXALT, a Christian drama troupe that performs emotionally-charged skits. We are currently recruiting members for each of these groups.
